I am proud to be associated with the Foothills Dentistry team. Being relatively new to Calgary, I am enjoying what this wonderful city, it’s beautiful surroundings and friendly people have to offer.
I grew up in India and traveled a lot during my childhood, as my Dad was a military pilot. I got my first lessons in discipline, dedication and hard work at home itself. I had the opportunity of meeting new people and making new friends due to the transferable nature of my dad’s job. I graduated from High School with the Best Student Award. I topped the 1 st, 3rd and final year dentistry (BDS) exams and received The University Gold Medal on graduation in 1996. I did my specialization in Prosthodontics (MDS) from India in 2002.
After having worked for 15 years in India, I decided to move to Canada in 2012 to join the Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) program at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. At graduation, I was awarded the American College of Dentist’s award for Ethics and Professionalism, American College of Prosthodontists undergraduate achievement award and the Student mentor achievement award.
I have two daughters and a lovely wife and spend my free time with them traveling, going to the movies, biking and playing games. I love being a part of this exciting profession and enjoy doing all aspects of General Dentistry with a special interest in Prosthodontics. I am currently undertaking continuing education courses in Orthodontics and would strive to provide the best professional services to you and your family.
